We are proud to announce that Elizabeth Mazur has joined our firm as a partner in the civil rights practice group. Ms. Mazur graduated from the University of California Berkeley Law School in 2005 and then clerked for a judge on the Fourth Circuit. She worked for two years as a Skadden Fellow at the Shriver Center National Center on Poverty Law representing low-income clients with barriers to employment in public benefits and family law matters. After that, Ms. Mazur worked as a partner for Loevy & Loevy from 2008-2018, handling complex civil rights litigation, usually involving police misconduct. Most recently, she worked for two years as the Legal Director of the Uptown People’s Law Office.
