FOIA Litigation

Liz is a fantastic lawyer and great to have in your corner.  She is confident, but not arrogant; attentive, and not aloof to the wishes of the client.  She is extremely intelligent, competent, and eager to litigate a case to the fullest extend possible.

Liz is easily one of the best attorneys I have ever had representing me, and will definitely be my first choice in counsel on any future FOIA litigation.

Representative Matters

Estate of Daniel Prude v City of Rochester, NY. Represented the estate of a Black man killed by Rochester police officers in March 2020, as they were responding to his pleas for help as he suffered an acute mental health crisis. Settlement of $12,000,000 was one of the largest single plaintiff police misconduct recoveries in the country.
