On April 27, 2023, our team successfully defended Elmhurst Memorial Hospital during a jury trial in DuPage County where the plaintiffs asked for $10 million. After deliberating for 35 minutes, the jury did not find any liability and entered a not guilty verdict on behalf of the hospital. Elmhurst Memorial Hospital was represented by our medical malpractice defense team. Matthew Arnold was the lead attorney on the case.
