Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Testai worked as an attorney with the National Immigrant Justice Center (NIJC), where she focused on removal defense, family immigration, and immigration relief for crime victims and domestic violence survivors. She also supervised NIJC’s Naturalization and Citizenship Pro Bono Clinics and served at the Immigration Court Help Desk where she assisted pro se respondents at the Chicago Immigration Court.
Ms. Testai received her bachelor with honors in Latin American and Caribbean studies from the University of Chicago. Prior to attending law school, she worked as a policy fellow for NIJC. While in law school at the University of Chicago, Ms. Testai volunteered as a child advocate for unaccompanied immigrant children through the Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights. She also volunteered with the International Refugee Assistance Project, Latinos Progresando, and NIJC.
Ms. Testai grew up in Buenos Aires and Chicago and has an interest in architecture and design.
