HSPRD shareholder Matt Piers and Claudia Flores, former attorney at HSPRD, were honored by Law Project at the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless at the Justice Circle Reception last evening. Matt and Claudia were honored along with Paul Strauss, for their recent work in the case against the City of Chicago that led to increased protection of the rights of the city’s homeless population.
The Justice Circle financially supports the work of the Law Project of the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless, assisting more than 400 homeless students, youths and families each year. The Law Project is the only legal aid project in Illinois dedicated to serving people who are homeless or at-risk, helping them secure access to schools, housing, jobs or services.
