HSPRD Shareholder Kalman Resnick participated this week as one of the lecturers in a webinar organized by the Law School of the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM) on “Relevant Aspects of the North American Legal System.” Mr. Resnick spoke about how amendments to our nation’s immigration laws since 1965 helped create the 11 million undocumented persons living in our country today and the prospects for reforming our immigration laws to legalize their status. In particular, Mr. Resnick addressed the need for bilateral actions between lawyers and activists in both the United States and Mexico to achieve comprehensive immigration reform providing a pathway to U.S. citizenship for the millions of undocumented Mexicans in the United States
