HSPRD Welcomes New Civil Rights Attorney

We are excited to start the new year on a positive note by watching our team grow in number and talent. We are thrilled to announce Clayton “Tex” Pasley has joined our Civil Rights group as an associate attorney.  Tex is experienced in a broad range of complex litigation matters, with a concentration in the areas of civil rights, constitutional law, labor and employment, and whistleblower and qui tam litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Pasley was a legal fellow at the Shriver Center on Poverty Law in Chicago. At the Shriver Center, he participated in litigation and policy advocacy on behalf of individuals denied housing because of their involvement with the criminal legal system, with a focus on investigating fair housing complaints arising from the enforcement of local crime-free and nuisance property ordinances in Illinois. He was also a law clerk for the Honorable Pamela L. Reeves, Chief U.S. District Judge for the Eastern District of Tennessee, and a staff attorney at No Exceptions Prison Collective, a prisoner’s rights advocacy organization based in Nashville.

We welcome Tex with great pride and look forward to seeing how his contribution to the firm will bring excellent results and exceptional service to our clients.
