HSPRD Shareholder Lori Deem spoke at the 6th IFSEA International Conference on Risk, Reward and Reputation Management Issues for Senior Executives & Founders in London.
During a panel on workplace misconduct and executive risk, Ms. Deem explained how gaps in U.S. employment practices, especially around reference-checking, allow individuals with a history of harassment to move from job to job without accountability. She pointed out that inconsistent references and legal hurdles make it difficult to stop harmful patterns from continuing.
Drawing on her extensive experience representing employees in workplace disputes, Lori offered practical insights into how employers and leaders can create safer, more responsible workplaces. She continues to use her expertise to protect employee rights and to promote fair, ethical practices in the workplace.
