HSPRD Attorney Margaret Truesdale is featured in a recent episode of the “Latte with a Lawyer” podcast. In her interview, Margaret discusses, among other topics, her work on the pending lawsuit alleging forced labor performed by immigrant detainees at the McHenry County Detention Center, as well as HSPRD’s and her personal role in the movement to end money bond in Illinois. Together with the ACLU of Illinois, HSPRD filed the amicus brief in support of the end of monetary bail on behalf of over 400 signers earlier this year.
