Kalman D. Resnick, HSPRD Shareholder and Head of HSPRD Immigration Practice Group, and HSPRD partner, Kelli A. Fennell, participated in Immigrants’ List’s First Annual Immigration Policy & Advocacy Web CLE on Friday, September 16, 2022. Mr. Resnick was the moderator of a panel on “Getting Agency and Government Assistance on Case Resolution: Congressional Constituent Services Do’s and Don’ts and Expedite and Special Processing Requests – USCIS, NVC, DOS.” The panelists were Bettyanne Gallagher, Director of Constituent Services at the Office of Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz; Jenny Herman, Community Affairs Specialist at the Office of U.S. Congressman Mike Quigley, Stacey Berdejo, Senior Case Worker and Outreach Coordinator, from the Office of Senator Tammy Duckworth, and Ms. Fennell, Mr. Resnick also moderated a noon talk by Congressman Jesus “Chuy” Garcia on the future of progressive immigration reform and the priorities for achieving such reform. Immigrants’ List is the nation’s first pro-immigration Political Action Committee (PAC) and is dedicated to reforming our broken immigration system, stopping anti-immigration policies, and electing pro-immigration candidates. Mr. Resnick is a member of Immigrants’ List’s Board of Directors.
