HSPRD congratulates shareholder Dina Torrisi Martin on her recent nomination to the Board of Directors of The Society of Trial Lawyers, an organization of Illinois’ top trial lawyers. The election meeting was held at Petterinos on September 5, 2019, where the new board members and officers were announced.
The Society of Trial Lawyers is an elite, invitation-only group, which comprises many of Illinois’ top trial lawyers from both the plaintiff and defense bar. The goals of the Society are to foster and encourage a spirit of loyalty and fraternity among trial lawyers; to maintain the highest ethical standards in the trial of cases; and to promote closer relationships amongst trial lawyers and the judiciary to further their common interests in the jury trial system.
Ms. Torrisi Martin is the head of our firm’s medical malpractice team. She is an experienced trial attorney defending hospitals and health professionals as well as general corporate liability matters. She also represents health professionals before the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation regarding licensing and disciplinary actions.
