Ms. Brown represents a broad range of clients in litigation and pre-lawsuit negotiations, including victims of wage theft and consumer fraud, survivors of sexual assault and domestic abuse, incarcerated individuals, long term care facility residents, employees, and many others whose legal rights have been violated. Throughout her career, she has litigated in state and federal court, administrative agencies, and arbitration forums. She has served as class counsel for tens of thousands of individuals in complex lawsuits. Ms. Brown also represents non-profits, government entities, and businesses that are seeking to protect their organizations, stakeholders, and the individuals they serve.
Ms. Brown joined the firm in 2019. Before that, she served as a law clerk for the Honorable Milton Shadur on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, worked on criminal justice reform and housing initiatives as a Polikoff-Gautreaux Fellow at Impact for Equity (formerly BPI), and worked as an associate at a national plaintiffs’ firm. Ms. Brown graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School.
Ms. Brown serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors for Beyond Legal Aid. She is a member of the bar in Illinois.
