HSPRD Attorney Kendra Scheuerlein presented on a panel entitled “Crimmigration: When Criminal and Immigration Law Paths Cross,” hosted by the Society for Asylum and Immigration Law and the Journal for Social Justice, at DePaul University College of Law yesterday. The panel explored how state criminal justice systems present challenges to immigrants and the criminal defense attorneys representing them.
Kendra concentrates her practice in the areas of immigration and nationality matters. These include family-based immigration issues, naturalization, asylum, U visa, and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival applications. She also represents clients in removal proceedings before the Department of Homeland Security.
