On October 27th, HSPRD teamed up with the Night Ministry to host our first “Brown Paper Bag Meal Prep” event held at our office. Several of our staff members volunteered to prepare over 75 sandwiches and meal packages that were passed out in Pilsen later that evening. It was an incredible experience that allowed our Firm the opportunity to come together and give back to our community.
The Night Ministry is a Chicago-based organization that works to provide housing, health care, and human connection to members of our community struggling with poverty or homelessness. The majority of people who visit their Health Outreach Bus have either not eaten anything or had enough to eat when they receive a meal at the Bus.
