The National Immigrant Justice Center has recognized HSPRD’s Meredith Turner-Woolley as a Rising Star attorney. The 18th Annual Human Rights Awards luncheon recognizes high-quality pro bono services provided to clients with complex immigration cases. Meredith Turner-Woolley’s commitment to ensuring clients’ access to justice and her outstanding achievements promoting, protecting and advancing human rights has not gone unrecognized.
Regarding this honor, Meredith stated, “I am honored to have had the privilege to collaborate with NIJC on issues at the intersection of immigration and family law. I deeply value the opportunity to advocate on behalf of families and unaccompanied immigrant children who have often fled situations of extreme poverty, community violence, domestic abuse or neglect.
