Jose Behar Interviewed on Radio Bilingue’s Comunidad Alerta Program

HSPRD partner Jose Behar was interviewed for the Radio Bilingue’s Comunidad Alerta program about his work on the Peri & Sons settlement and other H-2A visa issues.  The interview was aired on March 30th 2016.

The Peri & Sons lawsuit between a Nevada onion farm and H-2A visa workers claimed that the farm had shortened the workers’ pay and did not reimburse travel and immigration-related expenses.  The case was settled for $2.8 million and was represented by HSPRD attorneys Matthew J. Piers, José Jorge Behar, Christopher J. Wilmes and Caryn C. LedererListen to the interview here
