HSPRD’s Ian Wagreich Quoted in The New York Times on the Obstacles Facing Immigrant Healthcare Providers During COVID-19 Pandemic

Ian Wagreich is the Chair of the Government Liaison Committee of the International Medical Graduate Taskforce (IMGT), a nationwide group of professionals dedicated to improving the path that international medical graduates who have completed their training in the United States must follow in becoming legally authorized to provide desperately needed health care services in the United States.  In that capacity, Ian was interviewed by the New York Times as well as the Times of India regarding the difficulties that are facing immigrant healthcare professionals as they seek to assist in dealing with the coronavirus pandemic.  Mr. Wagreich and the immigration team at HSPRD will continue to assist immigrant healthcare workers and their employers as they seek to navigate the government bureaucracies in these difficult times.
