HSPRD has some of the most dedicated and talented attorneys nationally recognized. Each of them brings unique talent and skills in more than twenty practice areas. This month, HSPRD features a very special attorney with a wide variety of talents, Meredith Turner-Woolley.

Meredith practices in the areas of medical malpractice defense and family law. She joined the firm in 2012. Get to know more about her in this month’s Attorney Q&A!

What’s your favorite thing about working here?

I feel very fortunate to work in a firm where I know all the attorneys are some of the best in their respective areas. We are unique in that we have attorneys that concentrate on a variety of practice areas. It is a wonderful resource to have such a wealth of knowledge in our office. I love collaborating on cases and being able to pick someone’s brain when peripheral legal issues come up in my cases.

What is some of the work you have accomplished that you are most proud of?

I have had the opportunity to advocate for diverse client populations often facing incredible emotional, financial and systemic barriers. I feel honored when clients trust me to handle what are often the most difficult experiences of their lives. I am proud when I see clients move through a crisis and leave their cases feeling a sense of peace and resolution.

What are you most passionate about?

I am most passionate about helping clients to identify and meet their litigation goals. I aim to help make a stressful situation more manageable while empowering clients to feel a sense of autonomy in their cases.

What do you enjoy the most about your practice?

I love that every case is different and I never stop learning.

Fun Fact: What is something most people don’t know about you?

While living in Mexico, I once worked as an intern at a clinic that provided treatments centered around both indigenous healing practices and traditional Chinese medicine.
