HSPRD Welcomes 2022 with Two New Attorneys

We are proud to announce the arrival of two exceptional new attorneys who are joining our firm, Liz Jaci, a partner in the Med Mal Defense practice group, and Tory Tilton, an associate in the Civil Rights/Employment practice group.

Liz Jaci comes to us from Barker Castro Kuban & Steinback, where she worked for fifteen years handling med mal litigation on behalf of doctors and hospitals.  Earlier in her career, Liz worked as an associate at Anderson, Rasor & Partners and, before that, served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Chicago’s Law Department, Torts Division, where she gained extensive jury trial experience and represented the City of Chicago and its employees in personal injury lawsuits. Liz received her undergraduate degree in Economics from Northwestern University and her J.D. from University of Illinois. She was born in Italy and speaks fluent Italian.

Tory arrives at HSPRD after three years with Legal Aid Chicago, where she primarily represented tenants with housing subsidies in eviction and other housing matters. She also represented survivors of domestic violence and served on Legal Aid Chicago’s Domestic Violence Task Force. She attended undergrad at the University of Rochester, where she was on the women’s varsity soccer team, and she attended law school at Stanford. During law school, Tory was a summer associate at Miner Barnhill.

We welcome Liz and Tori with great pride and look forward to seeing them lead the way to future success.
