International Women’s Day is a global celebration of the economic, political, social and cultural achievements of women. This year, the day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity with the Pledge for Parity theme. To celebrate this day, HSPRD hosted Melissa Josephs, Director of Equal Opportunity Policy for Women Employed who shared some statistics on gender disparity and spoke about some of the most pressing issues facing working women today.
