HSPRD, in partnership with the Pozen Center for Human Rights of the University of Chicago, hosted a speaking event with Santiago Aguirre last week. Santiago shared his experience working on human rights issues in Mexico, particularly the case of the 43 disappeared students from Ayotzinapa, Guerrero, MX. Santiago is a staff attorney at the Miguel Agustin Pro Juarez Human Rights Center, a Jesuit-founded human rights law office which is one of the most highly regarded such centers in Mexico.
