On January 26, 2018, HSPRD partner Adam Snyder, led a discussion before about 100 attendees at the winter meeting of the Chicagoland Healthcare Risk Management Society. Adam’s talk focused on current issues facing clinicians and hospital risk management, including breastfeeding rights and holistic birthing practices such as umbilical nonseverance (lotus birth).
Adam Snyder is a partner of Hughes Socol Piers Resnick & Dym, Ltd. He focuses his practice on the defense of hospitals, nurses, and physicians in medical malpractice matters. Much of his practice concentrates on the defense of birth trauma and wrongful death matters and issues involving women’s health. He frequently lectures to clinicians, and healthcare and insurance professionals on women’s health issues. In September 2018, he will co-chair a national conference on clinical and legal issues in perinatal care.
